Day 6/108 || Sathya || Draw Happiness Experience

Must Try Kolams

Let us understand the meaning of the word Stimulus used in context. Stimulus can be both positive or negative.

Positive stimulus could mean a pat on the back, a bonus at work, lots of likes on one’s latest Kolam post, etc. Negative stimulus could mean a rough day, unkind words, disrespectful behaviour towards you, and anything else that pulls one down emotionally.

Now, when one receive a positive stimulus, one feels motivated, energised and happier. And when it’s negative, typically it starts eating one up. The negative stimulus is what leads to various bad habits such as shopping addictions, binge eating, drinking, smoking, taking out your anger on someone else.

What if I told you there is a way to take control of the situation? There is a way to respond to negative stimuli positively? A way to change the outcome to a happier space?

One potential way, is drawing a Kolam. Focus, get to a happier, calmer space and respond.
